The City of Northlake received a “Best of Illinois History Award” for its six-part video, “A Journey Down Addison Creek” which was produced to commemorate the City’s 75th anniversary in 2025.
Mayor Jeffery Sherwin accepted the award at the Illinois State Historical Society’s awards luncheon held in Springfield on April 25.
The Video is available for review on the City’s website www.northlakecity.com, and a USB drive containing all six chapters can be purchased at City Hall for $5.00
The video is a great glimpse of Northlake from its earliest days to the present.
