City of Northlake to Receive $425,520 State Grant

The City of Northlake has been selected to receive a $425,520 Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) grant from the State of Illinois for Phase II of the Ful-Roy Park redevelopment project.

The City would like to thank Governor J.B. Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) for this opportunity. Northlake’s one of 67 communities statewide to share in this year’s $36 million OSLAD program. The grant from IDNR will cover 50% of the cost of Phase II of Ful-Roy Park. Phase I of this project took place last year with the replacement of the playground.

It is expected that the work will be completed by fall of 2026 and will include an updated water feature.
